Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Tallinn
In the beginning of September 2023 we took the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn to walk on the medieval streets. Tallinn in Estonia is a Unesco World Heritage Site. On Toompea Hill we saw an orthodox cathedral, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, It was built in 1894–1900, when Estonia was a part of the Russian Empire.
St. Mary’s Cathedral, Tallinn

On Toompea Hill we saw St. Mary’s Cathedral , that was originally established by Danes in the 13th century. It is the oldest church in Tallinn and mainland Estonia and is the only building in Toompea which survived a 17th-century fire.
