I arrived to Nagoya in Japan for the first time in the beginning of april 2013 to visit my son that lived there at the time. We visited Nagoya castle above.

I arrived to Nagoya in Japan in the beginning of april 2013 to visit my son that lived there at the time. The second day in Japan my son took my to see the flowering Sakura along Yamazaki river. A lot of people were celebrating hanami and the streets were full of people.

Demon mural by Osu Kanon in Nagoya

At first I thought this was giant graffiti but it is a part of the Osu Kannon Temple in Nagoya. Or more correctly the paintings act as a backdrop to the temple. The demon also stand guard as statues by the temple entrance. To see one of them look here.
