A treasured memory from one of my journeys to visit my son whom lived in Japan at the time. The pictures is taken close to the temple Tenryū-ji in Kyoto and has been published on one of my other blogs. Tenryū-ji is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The postcard this week is from Kungsgatan, a boulevard established at the end of the 19th century in eastern Malmö. An octagonal church lies at its center and it is a popular strolling area as well. The picture is taken in the spring of 2014.
The postcard this week is from Limhamn concrete factory, now defunct. The concrete for the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio was quarried in Limhamn and manufactured in this factory. The name is Skånska cementgjuteriet, nowadays Skanska.
